I suggest you don't refer to geneneral dictionaries for scientif
defintions.

according to the International Astronomical Union a planet is a celestial 
body orbiting a star or stellar remnant that is massive enough to be
rounded 
by its own gravity, not massive enough to cause thermonuclear fusion, and 
has cleared its neighbouring region of planetesimals.

Now a Moon orbits a planet, the planet orbits the Sun, and to confuse
issue 
for you even more, the Sun orbits the galatic centre, so does that make
it, 
the Sun, a moon to you?
