      The Man Who Turned Blue
In 1994, Paul was an ordinary-looking guy with fair skin and freckles.
If you had seen him on the street, you might not have looked or thought
t
wice about him. Now when he walks down the street, people can't take their
eyes off of him.Paul's skin is blue.

"You're about to see something I've never seen before," Oprah says.
"
This is a first on The Oprah Show. We have never had a blue man in all
thes
e years."
Paul's blue skin is no trick of lighting or makeup-it's really
blue.

What caused it? Paul says it started when his friend who worked
for years in a machine shop was diagnosed with petroleum poisoning. Paul
s
ays he saw an ad in a magazine for something called a colloidal silver
gene
rator that said colloidal silver was useful for treating conditions
includi
ng petroleum poisoning. "So I ordered the generator and I'd go see [his
fri
end] every day. We'd each make a glass of colloidal silver and we'd drink
i
t," he says.

Paul says the drinks he and his friend had weren't
particularly
strong-a 10-ounce glass with no more than 10 parts per million of silver.
Still, what made Paul-who didn't have petroleum poisoning-take a drink? "I
figured I might as well drink it, too, if it was such wonderful stuff," he
says. "I wasn't going to say, 'Here, take this.' I thought the kindest
thin
g to do would be to take it with him just to make him more comfortable
with
the idea."
After he started his daily silver cocktail with his friend, Pau
l says his acid reflux disease disappeared. "In less than three days, that
was just gone," he says. "I thought, 'That's good.' So I kept taking it."
Paul says that he doesn't believe his daily silver drink is wha
t made him blue. "I didn't turn blue until I started putting it on my
face,
" he says.

While Paul was taking care of his elderly parents and his fathe
r was nearing the end of his life, Paul says he was extremely stressed. "I
developed the most unbelievable case of dermatitis you've probably ever
see
n. My skin was peeling off of my face in ribbons. I looked like a mummy
com
ing unwrapped," he says. "And where the skin pieces separated, I was
develo
ping fistula-the skin was cracking."

Paul says he'd previously dabbed a little bit of colloidal silver
on cat scratches and marveled at the effect. So he started applying silv
er all over his damaged skin.
From there, Paul says his skin began a gradual change over two
to three months from fair white to blue. "It was so gradual, nobody
noticed
," he says. "It wasn't until a friend came by who hadn't seen me in a
while
.. . He said, 'What have you got on your face?' [I said,] 'I don't have
anyt
hing on my face.' And he said, 'It looks like you've got camouflage makeup
on or something. You better come here.'" Paul stood in front of the mirror
with his friend and realized his unbelievable transformation.
Dr. Oz says drinking a silver solution is actually a very old t
herapy that dates back thousands of years. Though use of silver has
largely
fallen out of medical use since the introduction of antibiotics, Dr. Oz
sa
ys silver is still regularly given to newborn babies to make sure they
don'
t develop a disease from their mothers during childbirth and is even used
t
o treat some burns.

"It prevents the bacteria from making energy, but it does the
s
ame thing to our cells," he says.

Paul has so much silver in his body that he has a condition
cal
led argyria. "You know how you get silver in a photographic plate, when it
gets exposed to sun it turns a color? Well the same thing happened to
you,"
Dr. Oz says. "You basically tattooed your entire body with this silver."

"It's going to save me a lot of money at the tattoo parlor,"
Pa
ul jokes
Paul met his fiance, Jackie, after he had already turned blu
e. Jackie was a friend of Paul's sister, who is an artist. One day while
Pa
ul's sister was painting a ****trait of her, Jackie picked up the phone.
Pau
l was on the other end.

Jackie says the two of them talked on the phone for three or
fo
ur hours a night for the next six months. Though Paul's sister had
explaine
d that her brother's skin was blue, Jackie had still not seen Paul in a
pho
to or in person. "We talked on the phone for several months, so I knew the
man," she says.

Weeks before their first in-person meeting, Paul's cousin sent
Jackie a photo. "She called me and said, 'Please know he is a wonderful
man
.. He's a good man. Please don't let the color scare you,'" Jackie says.
"I
printed it, and I pulled it out. I'm looking, and I'm going, 'Oh, wow! Oh,
wow!" But I had to go back to the man I had fallen in love with."

"I'm all for looking beyond color," Oprah says.

Paul says that the most difficult part of having blue skin is t
he intense, quizzical stares he gets when he is out in public-but he says
h
e understands why they stare. "When you see something that's so unusual,
so
mething that you've probably never seen before, it's just natural for
peopl
e to be curious," he says.

Dr. Oz says Paul may need to get used to those stares-for the
r
est of his life. His skin will never return to its natural color. "You've
b
een drinking it long and you've been putting it on your skin," he says.
"So
it's in your liver and your brain, which is why sometimes it can cause
sei
zures if it gets to high enough amounts."

Dr. Oz offers to draw some of Paul's blood to make sure his
cha
nges are only skin deep.and not dangerous to his health.

"Be my guest," Paul says. "It's a deal."

Subject: Do You Know What Kinesiology Is? May 28, 2008.

Here are some people who think they know what it
means.

........................................................
........................................................

Pilgrim, how you journey on the road you choose...in
your heart you wonder
  Which of these is true.
Will you find the answer in all you say and do?
Will you find the answer in the road that leads to
you?
  from Enya:
  A Day Without Rain
You are the answer within yourself. The Pilgrim's
journey within each one of us searches for the truth,
looks for answers, seeks to know how.
And in that quest for knowledge, the Pilgrim often
desires to be guided and assisted along the path of
life's challenges and successes.
We are all Pilgrims looking for ways to make our
journey through life easier and more accomplished, and
yet that exploration can often meet with unconscious
hindrances.
There are ways to unlock the knowing from within to
help release the blocks to our creation and
manifestation.
Asking for help from a friend, seeking assistance
from a professional, listening to s-iritual guidance,
having personal insights and intuition, can all be ways
to access answers that render results.
Dowsing and Kinesiology are also tools that can be
learned to guide our Pilgrim along the way. This
article will focus on Kinesiology.

               WHAT IS KINESIOLOGY?
Kinesiology, often referred to as muscle testing, is
a technique which uses the movement of one particular
muscle from one position to another to indicate answers
from a person's own innate wisdom.
The word 'Kinesiology' comes from the Greek word
‘kinesis’ meaning motion, hence the study of muscles
and movement in relation to the structure of the body.
The medical science use of the term Kinesiology
refers to the study of muscle movement which enhances
strength or restores a muscle's condition after injury.
It is used in s****ts medicine, physical education and
physiotherapy.
The medical term is distinguished from the term
'Applied Kinesiology' used for accessing the body's
innate wisdom and subtle energy health.
Muscles are not tested for strength, but for quality
of subtle energetic muscle response.
This is the system that will be discussed in this
article.
Applied Kinesiology was the name given in 1964 by Dr.
George Goodheart, a Chiropractor, to a system of
applying muscle testing to access information from the
body's energy system for balancing the body's subtle
energy to enhance health.
While treating a patient for an atrophied muscle, he
discovered a link with the corresponding muscle on the
other side in a tense spasm.
When he treated the tense spasm in the opposite
muscle, the atrophied muscle became strong. This led
him to exploring the connections and correlations
pairing muscles had with each other as well as with
other muscle groups.
He found that treating overly strong muscles in the
spine would strengthen the weaker muscles in the spine,
thus creating a condition where the spinal adjustment
would stay in place, so that the patient would not need
repeated treatments.
Later, Dr. Goodheart and his colleagues began to
explore other connections with other body systems:
AN -- acerun: yes" the lymph system, the cerebral
spinal fluid system, and the meridian system.
Some time later, his colleague John Thie took their
knowledge and created a usable self help system,
Touch for Health, which formed another branch of
Kinesiology, Specialized Kinesiology. Today Applied
Kinesiology refers to what Chiropractors do, while
Specialized Kinesiology refers to what other
practitioners do, although many of the techniques are
the similar there are many variations and applications.
        CORRECTIONS OF IMBALANCES
Central to Kinesiology is the belief that all well
being comes from a state of inner balance and harmony
among and within the subtle energies of the body.
Subtle energy is synonymous with the energy referred
to as Qi, Chi, Prana and the universal life-force among
all living things connected to the high self or
sp-ritual self. The balanced flow of this energy is
vital for the maintenance of the health of the body,
mind and s-irit.
In Kinesiology there are two parts to the practice:
muscle testing and energy corrections.
With muscle testing, the flow of vital life force
energy is *****sed and specific information useful in
restoring energy flow is gathered.
The deficiencies and excesses of this vital force
energy are corrected in a number of ways:
therapeutically touching or tapping meridian points,
massaging the flow of the meridians, therapeutically
touching neurovascular or lymphatic points,
reprogramming muscles,
releasing emotional stress, and nutritional balancing.
The body has stored in each cell, all the way to each
DNA fiber, the knowledge of how best to create balance
and heal the body/mind /sp-rit.
Gently pressing on muscles and watching and feeling
the movement indicates an answer from the body's innate
wisdom and knowledge. Muscle testing requires
gentleness and a sensitive touch with awareness and
attunement from both tester and testee.
The gentler the test, the deeper the answer and
healing will take place. The stronger a muscle test
the more a tester's personal bias can show up, and the
testee's own defense system will block accurate answers
and healing.
Touch between one person and another is a powerful
bond that brings an intimacy reaching through the
defense systems, contacting a deep healing process
innate in everyone. Gentleness is vital to powerful
muscle testing.
Gentleness quiets the mind and sup****ts the
connection to Spirit which is the basis for profound
results.
Kinesiology is a method, a tool.
When practiced with precision, it becomes a powerful
way to talk to the unconscious intelligence and spirit
through the body.
Illness and symptoms don't just show up out of
nowhere. They are indicators of an ac***ulation of
built up emotional, physical, environmental, and
spiritual stresses which show up as symptoms or
diseases.
Kinesiology is a way to focus, to get h-aling results
going beyond the five senses.
  Kinesiology's further applications, whether accessing
information or correcting energy flow, can balance body
energy, integrate brain functioning, correct dyslexia,
de-fuse emotional anxiety, resolve deleterious habits,
addictions, ameliorate the effects of trauma, locate
and correct nutritional deficiencies and intolerances,
detect environmental toxicity, and access a relaxed
state of mind for inner calm.
A clear mind in a relaxed attuned state can bring
about profound results. Trusting the system of
Kinesiology is essential for finding accurate answers.
Let go and see where the system will take you.
A few years ago, I started having a symptomatic
reaction to my cat, Jazper, every time he sat in my
lap.
My eyes would itch, water and swell, then the
sneezing would start.
Was I developing an allergy to cats?
When my other cat, Cleo, sat in my lap, I did not
react in any way.
So what was up with Jazper?
I found myself avoiding him; less petting and no
sitting in my lap.
In response, he became very demanding of my
attention, and I could sense his disappointment.
I decided to find out what was going on with him.
A friend of mine, knowledgeable in Kinesiology,
started exploring this issue with me.

Part 1.

John Winston.
