That passage does not sup****t the occultic practice of numerology.
Your attempt to prooftext shows that you are unable and/or unwilling
to rightly divide scripture. No reconciliation is necessary since you
misapply the passage. I have cited numerous passages condemning
divination (including numerology) yet you conveniently ignore the
overwhelming Biblical evidence that clearly shows God condemning all
forms of divination. I agree with what J. Vernon McGee said in part
concerning Revelation 13:18...
"The passage in Revelation does not interest me a bit as to what the
number of the Beast is or who he is or anything about him, but it
makes me want to know Jesus Christ more, because my plan is to be with
Him=97not because of who I am or what I have done, but because Jesus
Christ died for me on the cross, and by His grace I will go into His
presence."
The form of divination you practice is an unholy form that God abhors
for it is a form of sorcery. God clearly abhors all forms of sorcery
and it is always referred to negatively in His Word (Ezekiel 21:21;
Leviticus 19:26-28,31;20:6; Deuteronomy 18:9-14; Isaiah 8:19; Malachi
3:5; 2 Thessalonians 2:9; etc.). Divination, as well as all forms of
sorcery, is associated with evil spirits and Satan as well. God makes
it absolutely clear that it is evil and unholy. And He makes it
abundantly clear that no believer in Him should ever practice it or
consult with those who do. You are either ignoring or rejecting this
to try to justify his practice of unholy divination. As such you are
wicked and self-condemned according to Scripture. OBVES, you
desperately need to repent of this sinful practice, reject it for all
time and turn to Scripture.
But for now, you are in clear denial and open rebellion against God.
