VIRTUAL JFK: Vietnam Had Kennedy Lived

Saw this do***entary at the Hot Docs Festival (in Toronto) last night.

JFK had avoided war 6 times (perhaps global thermonuclear war at it's hour

of maximum danger) but did not live to do so before the 7th.

The film's main premise is 'Does it matter who's President in times of
war'?

I like Sergei Kruschev's review the most.

There was a Q & A after the screening at The Royal Cinema but I didn't get
a 
chance to ask anything.

David A. Welch is one of the producers. He's a professor from the
University 
of Toronto.

Despite JFK's imperfections, he was truly a leader and hero for our time.

The related book will be released shortly.  I also recommend that you see 
the DVD "Thirteen Days" starring Kevin Costner and Canadian actor (who
plays 
JFK) Bruce Greenwood.  One taped dialogue between Gen. Curtis LeMay & JFK 
heard in this do***entary got into the script of Thirteen Days for a 
memorable scene between the military hardliner and the cool-minded young 
President.

The last quote of the do***entary (anonymous author) was:  "Whenever
history 
repeats itself, the price of the lesson goes up."
