Jack Martin and Guy Banister met at a bar at 5:00 pm on Friday, November 
22, had drinks, and then went to Banisters office, where they got into a 
fight that ended with Banister pistol whipping Martin. Martin went to 
Charity Hospital, received outpatient treatment, went home, and called 
Major P.J. Trosclair of the New Orleans Police Department. A squad car was

called to Martin's home at about 8:45 pm, and Martin was taken to Baptist 
Hospital, where his injuries were examined and photographed.

As to when the new media started coming to Mrs. Garner's door, Garner 
testified that it was *before* Ferrie came to her home. See HSCA Record
