John.
If there was a large hole in the back of the skull wouldn't the fragments
already be blown out and landed somewhere on the trunk of the Limousine?
That's why its called a "hole" because there is nothing inside but empty
space.
JC: You don't think that if one or two pieces of lower right BOH skull
were pushed to the right by the bullet, let's say a couple of inches, and
the scalp was torn in the same area allowing brain matter to exude out the
opening, that opening could be called a "hole?"

Is this is a debate about fractures versus holes or fractures causing
holes? Barb has already said there can be fractures under the skin which
is still intact.
JC: First, the back of JFK's head was fragmented and there was torn scalp.
That said, if there were only BOH "surface" fractures then it's obviously
pretty unlikely there was a BOH opening....and sure, there can be
fractures under the skin that never gets torn as Barb sid. But, and I hate
to speak for her (but I will anyway because she won't know anyway--she's
been tied up on the Judyth threads for the past six months--duck!), she
doesn't hardly think that was the situation in JFK's case. IOW, I believe
she agrees with me that some rght rear bone, still adhered to the scalp,
was moved out of position and there was a scalp tear there as well.

We can see in the Z-film there is no hole in the back of the skull, unless
you are claiming there was a hole but it closed up after the bullet and
fragments blew out.
JC: Huh? You can tell from the Z-film that there is no BOH hole--what
version have you seen? I don't see a BOH hole, especially with brain
matter blasting out, in the Z-film....but that doesn't mean there wasn't
an opening through which brain tissue was visible. Also, who's to say that
loose right rear skull pieces weren't moved further out of position when
someone grabbed the back of his head during the transfer from the limo to
the gurney? You don't think they just let his head fall back do you?
Moreoevr, I doubt if they were real gentle and took their time when they
moved him considering the cir***stances.
claviger writes:
Is there a flap that closed the hole and if so how did anybody know there
was a hole when the body was face up on the operating table?
JC: I don't think, once the opening was there (pre-TR1), any flap covered
it up until just before the x-rays showing an intact rear head were taken
at Bethesda.
