Dee, this copy situation, as you address it here, reminds me of the
typical astrological disaster which awaits any traditional practioner
who tries to find 'astrological' similaritities, say, between Jackson
Pollock and Ed Harris--the actor who *seems to be* Pollock for the
sake of the biographical drama.

(Now, what if we put panties on Pollock's head, in this photo
(above) of him at work....hmmmm)

No comparison concerning the presence of Art in your choice...yours
got art and soul..:) (Beautiful job, Dee...I hope you paint some
version on a large durable canvas for posterity...its like a text book
on the art of astrology all by it self.)
Nice example of how we actually 'find ourselves' by way of exposure
to cultural diversity, and so forth. Our own immediate background
would probably never allow the pertinent image to naturally occur in
our filtered styling environmental attributes, except by way of our
archiving and displaying the images of those *to whom such
characteristics are genuinely authentic*(...painted clown faces just
cannot "work" the alchemy here). Ed doesn't understand authenticity,
and the search for it, as being the 'reason' why he "borrows" his
knight image and then quite literally makes it his own. The im****tant
point is that genuine significance 'happens' (as a function of art
working *autonomously* in our reality--our own phenomenal world) ---
it, signficant symbolism, is *not* created purely as an act of will.
This is the primary distinction between being sane or insane. Self and
world are one and inseparable--an artist 'creates' only an
interpretation of what he perceives while experiencing ongoing
integral relation****p, there is no self and other, inside and outside,
in the soul's authentic experiences--an 'other' only becomes to appear
as an 'other' when it fails to be of any compelling significance. To
the insane there is only the self surrounded by an intruding torrent
of irrelevent 'dead' entities...the "like me" content of the universe
is either never perceived, or perceived only in a distorted format
which reflects (or embodies) the emotional disturbance of the
perceiver.

I would like to hear more concerning your thought here on
"process".
