I work for a living. Part of my income comes from selling software
that I've written. What I don't do is take advantage of free
advertising by posting commercial articles to Usenet discussion
groups. To my mind, that's no better than e-mail spam.
Here's a quote from the charter for misc.kids.breastfeeding:
