Because of success with used & rare books and collectibles in the late
1980's and 1990's (as described in one of my recent books), I was able
to move to the Las Vegas area for a number of years, where I was
almost inevitably drawn into occasional visits to the local casinos,
at first for their fabulous buffets and entertainment, but
increasingly, to study what astrological factors influenced winning
and losing and/or a 'hot' or 'cold' casino experience. I started by
keeping track of the Moon's position and the transiting planets and
also how these transits over my chart seemed to coincide with wins and
losses. By the way, there did indeed seem to be certain times when
everyone at a table would be winning, cheering and clapping, and the
pit bosses looking on with growing concern as players scooped up lots
of cash. There were other times (other transits), when nobody could
make a dent against the House, and all the money flowed downward in
one direction -- into the waiting arms of the casino. Not strangely
to someone familiar with astrology, I might do well when everybody
else was doing poorly, and vice versa. I had the longest 'roll' of
the dice in the history of one of the games... 3 hours and 22
minutes. I also won a tournament. I made $500 or more countless
times. The archives show I WON more often than I LOST, especially when
I started avoiding certain Moon signs, etc. The evidence gives every
indication that personal wins and losses entirely coincided with lunar
and planetary transits and positions.
There are two things I might suggest; I do have this database
available on my website, it is Item #16 on my Books page of my
personal website. It costs the equivalent of one casino "black chip".
It took me a couple of years to amass the data, so I'm not going to
give it away. But I would also be available to work with anyone who
wants some feedback, criticism and/or encouragement, on their own
cycles of wins and losses, since everyone is on a different timetable
when it comes to winning or losing, and we can toss around some of
that, right here on the Group, if you like.
