Re: What's with all the religious whackos in this primary

> Is there something in astrology showing why we are seeing this, or is

a) Tail end of Piscean era
b) Pluto Rx in the final last bits and pieces of Sag
c) Saturn in Virg
d) Uranus in Pisces
e) Gradual transition into Aqu era

Granted, these are broader or longer term influences, but the way I'd
interpret them is:-

The Boomers (Pluto in Leo generation, primarily) are wanting to take the
Piscean religious dominance and apply it to the increasingly strengthening

Aquarian environment. It ain't going to work, but they'll keep trying for
a
while yet. I'd interpret Pluto in Sag adding to it in terms of forms of
religion, (Sag) which are extreme, volatile, and likely to cause problems.

(Pluto) The religious nutjobs are getting airtime because Christianity
(Pisces) is somewhat in decline, (as the Piscean age itself is) and the
Boomers (said nutjobs' target demographic) can see it and are possibly
feeling desperately insecure about it. Said nutcases are therefore
capitalising on the fact that as long as they promise the older generation

that "Christian values" will be kept alive, the older generation are going

to want to keep them in power.

I could be off on this, but I tend to interpret Virgo as being about a)
service to the greater whole, and b) mathematical/fiscal skill and
practicality. Saturn in Virg to me is going to mean that those attributes

either aren't present in the government, (Saturn) or only manifest in
strained and limited ways. At a guess, that's also why in American terms
you're seeing the weakening of the dollar, and various other economic
calamities while the government continues to waste money on frivolous
things. The other, service element, also means that with that not being
present, the government is going to do exactly as it likes. Hillary and
the
rest of them can try and sing a different tune publically, of course...but

that is not how it will work.

Also, Uranus in Pisces would definitely be part of it. Although not to
the
same degree as Mercury, Uranus is still to a degree about communication,
and
technology in general...so that can be interpreted as religion (Pisces)
being filtered through the mass media, but also causing
shocks/unpleasantness as a catalyst for change/growth. (Uranus)

As we move more and more into Aqu, the religious focus is going to tone
down; although that won't necessarily solve everyone's problems. Aquarius

has its' own drawbacks. Instead of using religion as a means of holding
power, fascists (Saturn) will simply turn to technology, (Uranus) and
money,
(Saturn) instead. The other thing to realise is that the entire
libertarian
(Uranus)/fascist (Saturn) conflict is the overriding Aqu motif, in the
same
way as Jesus Christ was during Pisces. In other words, we're either going

to need to learn to develop self-responsibility in order to gain the
accompanying freedom, (Uranus) or we'll end up living in a long-term
fascist
nightmare that will make 1984 look optimistic. (Saturn)
