MrM: After he 'double dog dared' SPV to make the cats disappear and
then they seemingly did under uncanny yet believable cir***stances,
he seemed to have put his foot in his mouth. With Jmaes' ego and his
fondness for fiction, it wouldn't be too far of a stretch to create a
fictonal world in which the cats still existed and he had emerged
victorious in the 'disappearin' cat' marathon. Perhaps the guilt of
sending his furry friends to the slaughterhouse for $100 each was too
much to bear and he broke.
