Although the games have left me numb, they have however brought the
question
as to why i come to this group.
It could be just ritualistic habit to check in on what's happening on a
regular basis. I have after all been visiting this group since nearly the
beginning of it's existence. It could be my interest in the individual
posters..., such as Stephen, whom i have followed thru soo many changes. I
remember when he and Judy were living together and in love.
Anyway, I'm not so sure how *real* anyone or anything is on this group...
and or how many are simply playing games. At least two have claimed the
status of genius, and i have no idea what it takes to intertain a genius.
The very claim of genius is an egoic cry for attention..., and my whole
practice is the recognition and observation of the ego... (mainly my own)
Maybe, this numbness is a form of closure.... to the ritual of
participating... even as an interesting read. There is plenty of drama in
this world without me seeking it out. It may well be time for me to leave
the benches of the playground, and walk the still path toward myself...
Graditude, and best wishes...,
Jim
