future war games: gentlemen excused

by dead <kosmicgeek@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 23, 2008 at 02:23 PM

watched 30 Days Of Night based on a graphic vampire novel and the
artist is a perth artist. the movie is obviously stylized on the
comic art and it creates a hardcore-emo feeling which can get a bit
****... but its really good art. the vampires are like my friends
said on meth. we agreed that everything in movies seems to be methed
up these days. rewatching it today i am particularily fascinated by
it from the point of view of watching an animal do***entary. the
situation is very primitive and basic one of the most basic games on
earth i guess, the vampires come like lions to feed on their victims
and it's during a 30 day period of darkness in an isolated town. the
people have to choose to help each other or to help themself. the way
the vampires dragged one lady under the houses and lashed at the man
coming after her to protect his meat was very primitive. all the
culture was irrelevant, we were just animals and our flesh was food
for our enemy... i am feeling two aspects to it which is the violent
adrenaline and this brooding darkness in which family, cultural,
personal values have all been crushed or under attack. it is a real
part of society. the ones who buy into the bull**** are even less
fortunate than the ones who are irredeemably fallen into violence and
gross value systems. you see in meth heads or i have so far there are
ones who talk and there are ones who walk. the talkers you want to
smash in the head, if so that means you are a walker and they're
agressive.

/snip/ they became very unpredictable and difficult to defeat and they
were good at breaking the square, they didn't intellectualize it into
the concept of 'breaking the square' but i think you know what i
mean... the roman armies fought in squares.

the white hat and the black hat computer enthusiasts. both have
problems.it is not surprising unless you have become indoctrinated and
hypnotized before gathering your senses.

there is this whole thing with the shadow and for me to break my own
square and face my shadow has been huge deal. depends how groovy you
are with the taboo nature in being human. i am not very but i do have
the taboo aspect so it is a battle. so i don't know the process how
it should happen exactly for everyone... for some people the key might
be more in the sensitivity to your own shadow and not in the
intellectual eye... butit is there for them like a guide. and as a
guide in my case it i hope helps to integrate and not drown in the
shadow and whatever i have to explore. the journey is one of real
development of the ego and intellectuality is almost a by pass of the
persona and that's why nerds aren't good socially though i am jeckyl
and hyde about that. others are well street hardened and shadow wise
and although they are confined to such a basic self and social
structure a good introduction of some intellectual keys to their minds
might be all they needs to move them along at a pace that without the
intellectual cheat they would not find, and already being well
developed at the lower end of reality they are ready to move on up on
a firm ground.

messy bloody process aint it... teh complications of what should or
should not happen are beyond verbalising almost, for most of us who
don't try and feel through life, but concepts can be used to correct
misunderstanding (other concepts) like the placebo effect.
