Who Amongst You Would Sell Your Soul for Political Expediency?

Tonight, I attended a Candidates Night for those running for Josephine
County Commissioner. The room was packed. Well Attended by
inquisitive voters.
I took the op****tunity to ask a simple question, which brought the
biggest response of the night, by the packed audience.
I simply stated that my concern was not attuned to performance once in
office, but one of integrity. I then popped the question. "How many
of you running for office would sell your soul for political
expediency."
Without hesitation, all candidates, considerable in number raised
their response paddles signifying NO!! I wonder???.
It was then I told them I had a story to tell, but the setup of the
agenda, prevented it from being tonight.
I also took the op****tunity to search out Sheriff Gil Gilbertson
during the short intermission. I introduced myself, as we had not met
face to face until tonight. I explained to him in front of witnesses,
that I was NOT HIS ENEMY, nor was I the enemy of Law Enforcement.
It was a civil meeting. The Sheriff offered his card and suggested we
meet over coffee.
I took his card, but made no committment. Since the County has turned
over the massive Commercial Defaults my case to their Insurance
Carrier for Josephine County Law Enforcement, I determined his future
actions which would reveal his level of integrity heretofore missing
in my previous contacts with the Josephine County courts and law
Enforcement over the last six years would be determined, or he would
reveal himself to be a politician skilled in PR. (Public Relations)
Presently, the State of Oregon and County of Josephine have jointly
put the Josephine County and Oregon Taxpayers on the hook for the
following series of Commercial Default judgments in the amount of
$39,180,000.00 (Thirty Nine, One Hundred and Eighty Thousand Dollars)
