Hmm. Can't navigate the entry to your site (I don't
"register" any more because I can't remember my
damn passwords etc.), but I'll answer you here: I know
that it's fa****onable among those fearful of the paranormal
to try to reduce every phenomenon (including dreams, for
example) to chemical interactions, as if that *explained*
anything. Yep, maybe oxygen deprivation occurs at the
same time that such and such a death-bed vision occurs,
but *that does not mean that the oxygen deprivation
CAUSES the vision any more than it means that the
vision causes the oxygen deprivation. Simultaneous
occurence, even repeatedly, does not equal causality
(although it may turn out to be a sign of it -- or not).
On the other side, those with an emotional investment
in a Heaven populated by relatives who have "passed"
steadfastly cling to having grandma (or Jesus) on hand
at the end of the tunnel of light, waiting to welcome the
home-bound soul of the departing. Well, maybe; but
nobody can prove that, either.
So, on the understanding that I am not proposing to
prove or disprove anything, I can tell you here that
In My Opinion, there are other planes of existence than
the purely physical, some of which intersect and even
interact with the physical under certain conditions, and
that all of us spend time between incarnations on one or
more of those planes, where we may or may not
communicate with the living, at the point of death or
in dreams or visions or via "hunches" or hallucinations
and so on. The reasons that I think this include a good
deal of personal experience which I will not bore you
with, some of it in dreams, some in waking life, some
while engaged in a 25 year span of exploration of such
matters with a psychic friend whose results have proven,
over the years, to be pretty accurate (about 80%, which,
in my experience, is as good as it gets). Sometimes
friends come to meet us; sometimes we "meet" our
source-soul, the spirit behind the mask of personality
that we don in order to engage with a specific lifetime
and its tasks and demands.
That's what I think; so what?
