similar story when I was 12.....was in DC, in the tunnel connecting the
senate building (?) to the capital. I was walking toward the escalator
and
some old man follwing a cop was heading for it too,........damn if I was
going to let himi cut in front of me, the cop beat me to it, but I beat
the
old man (barely) almost had to push him out of the way both the cop and
the
old man were agitated....only later when I got scolded from my parents did
I
learn the old man I cut off was Barry Goldwater ru****ng to a senate vote
