I think the language is partly genetic - you either have it or else
you need to imitate.   These are some styles I know 1- bossy pointy
down people; 2- intelligent people who make slow vertical movements.
3- muslim style where hands are rotated towards you in a kind of
gesture of presentation 4- magician language (my favourite, if a
little crazy) fewer movements, but some vertical hands with wiggling
fingers finished with a gathering in, 5 - sales type language where
you go for space (e.g. in the film Dave).

You can for instance watch videos of Adolf Hitler's speeches on
youtube for a few tips.  I learnt the blinkers (vertical hands from
behind the head.)
