Gil Jesus :
"Now, Lowry, answer this one question, which I keep asking and you
keep
running from : Did Lattimer's son do this with the "Oswald" rifle, or
with another
rifle ?"
TL :
No , but unless I'm mistaken it wouldn't take LHO's exact rifle to
get
test results that accurately reflect the accuracy of LHO's rifle .
These are production run , mass produced rifles that can be expected
to fire in accuarcy about the same from rifle to rifle depending upon
the condition of the rifle .
From LHO's perspective I would think that his rifle performed as
expected although he must of gotten a bit annoyed after firing two
shots and not seeing any results , His third shot however as Howard
Brennan said he seemed to be quite satisfied with the results .

If the same rifle isn't used the results are unreliable...... I can
take two rifles that appear to be identical and one might fire a one
inch group, while the best the other rifle will do is a six inch
group. The condition of the bore is the critical issue.....
TL :
The condition of the bore is not the critical issue . It's whether a
person uses the right ammunition :

" When using standard 6.5mm (.264) rounds this gun is very
inaccurate . This rifle is designed to use (.268) 160 grain rounds "

end .........
It then becomes a choice weapon , easy to handle and fire !
