domestic dissent?

Yes, Raytheon -- manufacturer of the 100 bunker buster bombs kindly 
flown by America to Israel at the height of their bombardment of 
Lebanon, and supplier of electronic equipment for the apartheid wall 
built on Palestinian land; -- Raytheon -- with its 73,000 employees 
worldwide and annual revenues of 20 billion dollars has gone and done it 
again!

For, Raytheon -- the world's largest producer of guided missiles, and 
fifth largest defense contractor in the world, provider of aircraft 
radar systems, weapons sights and targeting systems, communication and 
battle-management systems, and satellite components -- has come up with 
a system which could scatter a crowd in a trice without a drop of blood 
being spilled.

Shocked by "scary" scenes in Gaza after months of Israeli and Western 
sanctions, Nobel peace laureate Desmond Tutu denounced on Thursday, May 
29, the international community's complicity in the suffering of the 
Gaza people.

"My message to the international community is that our silence and 
complicity, especially on the situation in Gaza, shames us all," Tutu 
told a new conference at the end of a three-day UN fact-finding mission.

Judge critical of Guantanamo war crimes case is dismissed

MIAMI -- A judge hearing a war crimes case at Guantanamo Bay who 
publicly expressed frustration with military prosecutors' refusal to 
give evidence to the defense has been dismissed, tribunal officials 
confirmed Friday.

Army Col. Peter Brownback III was presiding over the case of Canadian 
detainee Omar Khadr. Marine Col. Ralph Kohlmann, in his role as chief 
judge at Guantanamo, ordered the dismissal without explanation and 
announced Brownback's replacement in an e-mail this week to lawyers in 
Khadr's case.

More Whistleblowers Step Up To Complain About FAA

Kim Farrington says she was only doing her job as a Federal Aviation 
Administration inspector when she raised concerns about problems 
involving an airline's training program. But her bosses, who she thought 
were too cozy with the carrier, punished her for her warnings, she said.

Her workplace became unbearable, and Farrington said she was essentially 
fired in 2004.

North Korea 'tests sea missiles'

North Korea has fired three short-range ****p-to-****p missiles off its 
west coast as part of a military training exercise, re****ts from South 
Korea say.

A government source was quoted as saying missiles with a range of nearly 
50km (30 miles) were fired into the sea west of the North's capital, 
Pyongyang.

Air Force wing in nuclear goof has more trouble
