So Trevor did have a seat belt. Or did he? Has it been decided he was
wearing his seat belt to have survived that collision? Just look at the
damage to that car. Would he have come out of it alive had he not been
wearing his seat belt? I think it was decided he had to be wearing it
despite it being contrary to bodyguard practice of not being free &
unrestricted in movement in town driving. I recall Geoff Cromwell was
adamant he was not wearing a seat belt. I think Geoff was right to contest
it. How long had they been away from the city? It was only minutes inside
the tunnel so when did Trevor get this urge to put on his seat belt? I
don't
think the cir***stances were such that required a seat belt and if those
cir***stances arose after entering the tunnel then there was not the time
to
find it, extend it or anchor it.
But let's face it there wasn't going to be a finding that PP or MI6 or
anyone else of the ilk did it. Not when it was a matter of National
Security
and/or the bringing down of the British Empire. The scandal of a drunk
driver and all the other little scandals [no seat belts - paps harrassment
of the car - speeding etc] in comparison to what these major scandals
would
mean, well it wasn't never to be. Still think it was a shaped charge
inside
the car that created the "collision" damage. That would account for Trevor
surviving the "impact" and account for the ease with which he can maintain
amnesia free of conscience. Did Diana's pulmonary vein tear [a
decelaration
injury] and yet Trevor survive any such injury? Why did Diana survive the
crash and Dodi didn't?
