INTRODUCTION
Science of Spirituality is a global, not-for-profit spiritual
organization under the leader****p of Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj.
We are hundreds of thousands of people of all nationalities, races and
faiths deeply committed to a spiritual way of life based on
meditation, service to others, and personal transformation of inner
and outer peace. Science of Spirituality international headquarters is
in Delhi, India and the North American headquarters is in Naperville,
Illinois, USA.
Science of Spirituality continually engages in inter-religious
dialogue and participates in national and international interfaith
conferences. Under the direction of Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj,
the organization sponsors major annual international events on
spirituality, human unity, and religious fellow****p.
Ongoing youth programs provide children and teenagers with an
op****tunity to learn spiritual and moral development. Both the Delhi
and the Naperville centers house libraries of comparative religions
and related topics for people who wish to study the message of oneness
underlying the world=92s religions and philosophies. In addition, the
organization publishes an extensive body of literature written by its
spiritual teachers, which has been translated into over 50 languages.
Background of Science of Spirituality
Science of Spirituality - Sawan Kirpal Ruhani Mission is dedicated to
spirituality, peace, and service to humanity. Sant Rajinder Singh, the
spiritual head of Science of Spirituality, teaches a simple and
natural method of meditation leading to inner and outer peace.
This meditation technique was taught by Hazur Baba Sawan Singh
(1858-1948), Sant Kirpal Singh (1894-1974), Sant Darshan Singh
(1921-1989), and a line of spiritual teachers preceding them. It
provides a means whereby people of all ages, religions, and
nationalities can integrate spirituality into their lives. This
practice has been referred to as Surat Shabd Yoga, Sant Mat, or
meditation on the inner Light and Sound. Along with the study of
meditation, practitioners learn how to develop noble human values that
will transform and enrich their lives, enabling them to make positive
contributions to the world.
