It may verify globble warming exists, much as prior cooling
predictions were similarly verified. It does not verify either to be a
problem or that, were it a problem, it could be solved; or would be
solved.

There was the Club Of Rome prediction of the early '70s that by this
time we would all be breathing sulfuric acid.
There was the Love Canal catastrophe which led to the creations of
still another federal agency.
