entering the sylish little club of gangers in count zero Mike looks up
at ceiling. "No where to go up here", he says. Wondering aloud. Some
gangers have Second Life on one of the vid screens and are watching a
stripper avatar. Mike looks of over at Pierre Anoid who appears to be
reading something on a Palm pilot.
Pierre notices Mike and holds his Palm out and shakes it in the
direction of Mike. "Nothing like reading Gibson in the electronic form
it was meant for", he says. "Hey Mike?", he asks, "Wanna buy me a
beer?"
Mike retorts, "You got all the money you need to buy beer, Pierre.
Didn't even think you would be here what with your government job. So
tell me did you ever find nirvana"?
"You must be stoned Mike, I am Jewish not Japanese. I have no use for
no-mindedness. No buy me a beer no hear the latest from me.", says
Pierre and walks out of the club.
