Re: Hope for Heretic?

Fra H. I hope you are as wrong about this as you have been about many
things...

....Not because I want to stick my head in the sand. I'm not... There
are going to be some [if not alot of] bad times ahead.

The Imperial House of Bush [Mad George?] has pushed the US into a what
may turn out to be an untenable position... and from our hands will
slip the title of world Hegmon... Will you welcome your New Chinese
Overlords? Who are the North Koreans and Iran but 3rd and 4th rate
states that are having their strings pulled by indirectly by China?
It's a 21st century version of the Cold War.

As for the Israel nuking Iran... It is not as likely as a conventional
air strike against an Iranian nuclear production target. I believe the
Israeli nukes are held in reserve for one particular mission: If the
Jihadists finally do get cast the iron genitals to attempt a "final
solution" to the Jewish State, the Arab kingdoms will glow at night
for a long, long time.... the US [and China] can forget about ever
having to depend on Middle Easter oil again because there won't be any
available.

That's a far fetched "nightmare" scenario...

More likely is that the US will be played for "the death of a thousand
cuts": terrorist bombs, oil shortages, and military "police actions"
that do nothing more than sap our strength and our will. If the game
is played long enough China will slip into the driver's seat as the
new Military-Economic "ruler of the world". Frankly were the PRC a
little more on par with the US militarily, they could ruin the US
right now economically: The US is not only addicted to Middle East
oil , it is also addicted to cheap Chinese goods.

The real question becomes which side will the cor****ate states take in
this "war"... They sided with the US in the 20th century Cold War
because they had no real investment in the eastern bloc... It's
different this time around. The US broke the Russian Bloc economically
with the help of the cor****ate states... It does not look like that is
going to happen this time around. Many multi-national corps are using
that cheap Chinese labor... yet they are dependent upon the economic
"health" of the West to sell their goods... but if they can find other
markets-- the US is a goner.

Are you ready to learn our new anthem, "The West is Red?" You should
be able to pick it up at WalMart real soon now...

.... BTW... i was serious when i said congratualtions to you both...
and I hope my predictions are just as wrong as yours.
