A good question. I foresee, probably wrongly since my track record at
gut-level predictions is poor, that society will divide into religious
zealots using it to explain their misery and apply brutal force against
others, wrong thinking others, to take their stuff and kill their
children. Meanwhile, other groups of non-religious will founder in Post
Peak gloom, trying to maintain their sanity in a decomposing world.

Cor****ations will exploit both sides, probably sell arms and PV panels
to them.
