it's a .bmp, this does work under the WinNT descendants, but I have
not done it in a very long time, and I don't remember the name of the
file or where it needs to be located.

If somebody can remember that, there are two other rules:

 - The image is a weird aspect ratio, like 320 x 480.  I remember it
was similar to the Amiga screen resolutions for Halfbright and HAM,
but it was a Windows-type ratio, I am pretty sure 320 x 480 is it.

 - It has to be a windows .bmp format, and with no compression.  .bmp
does sup****t a byte-run compression format, you have to be sure -not-
to use this.  Most image processors I have used though by defaults
save .bmp without compression (which does very little for photo-type
images anyway)

Oh and also, I think it needs to be 8-bit palletized.  (Those of you
who are into this kind of thing might have noted that most versions of
windoze use a palette-cycling type animation on the startup screen).

But I'll be pig****ed if I can remember the file name and path
anymore.
