I beg to differ. On a program on PBS the other evening, they were
interviewing an Inuit elder and he loved the newfound warmth. It
provided them with easier access to the ocean, a longer hunting season
and so forth. The only downside was the polar bears couldn't migrate as
usual because the ice had retreated much earlier than usual. And the
main food supply for whales in that area had decreased dramatically.
