I enjoyed it a lot, but I think a lot of the humour will likely be lost
on non-brits. OTOH, the rest of the humour is either culture-clash or
comedic violence, which appeals to everyone :)
It's well written / shot / acted, so you should at least watch the
first episode to see if you'll like it.
