Bradbury's behaviour when barred from the artshow at the '86 worldcon
in Atlanta (whewre he was GoH) because he didn't have his badge was
exemplary -- he apologised for his absent-mindedness, congratulated
the gopher (who was mostly a media fan and didn't really know who he
was) on doing her job well,went off, got his badge, and enjoyed the
artshow.
The worker in person was later presented with a custom button that
read "Bradbury, Schmadbury -- nobody gets in without a badge!"
