DOH!



I totally forgot.  I went to the Baltimore con back in 97 or 98!  My
memory is foggy, but I recall:
- going to writers' panels that resembled college lectures
- visiting the art & dealer rooms
- getting Cherryh to sign a book I just bought
- listening to Babylon 5 writer jms in a question-answer session

Overall impression: Ehhh.



Since that time I've discovered I prefer the anime cons.  I enjoy the
costuming, free video screenings, and gaming rooms that the Baltimore
WorldCon lacked.  Also cheaper.  I've been going to either Katsucon or
Otakon every year.
