THE ROYAL ABINGDON FAIRE

A Renaissance Faire in the Arboretum of the Royal Botanical Gardens,
Hamilton, Ontario, Canada!
Weekends from July 23rd through Labour Day

The Royal Abingdon Faire is an Immersion Experience that takes you back
to the year 1524. Henry VIII is Married to Catharine of Aragon, Anne
Boleyn is at Court and Intrigue Abounds...

Come Cheer the Joust, as Knights Compete for Honour and Favour!
See Artisans Produce Period Craft Work Before your Eyes!
Hear the Music and Join the Singing in the Pub at the End of Each Day!
There's something for every member of the family at the Faire!

Four stages offer music, magic and madness for your entertainment! The
House Cast will present a Moliere play - The Imaginary Invalid.
Children's Theatre and Sing-Along Activities, a Human Chess Match and
Shaekspeare's Love Scenes will Round Out Your Day.

CAUTION: You may become involved in the day's events...

As you walk the streets of our Village, you may happen on members of the
Court or Local Hawkers and Citizens about their business. You may
Stumble on a Game of Wench Croquet or be Drawn into an Intrigue Hatched
by the Local Cooper.

You will definitely want to Pause in each of Shoppes Operated by Local
Artists, Artisans and Crafters. They will always be happy to Engage you
in Conversation, Recommend an Eatery or Help you Find what you are
Looking for in our Market.

While you Browse the Shoppes, your children may Wish to Entertain
themselves in our Games and Play Areas. Then the Whole Family can
Adjourn to one of the Local Pubs or Eateries to Regale one Another with
Tales of the Village.
