We're still looking for (more) people to join us on our expedition to
see "Superman Returns" at a theater near the con on Friday, June 30.
This is something fun to do on the day prior to the official start of
the con.
About 2 hours prior to showtime, I'll place an electronic order for
tickets for everyone going. This way, there will be no need for anybody
to wait in line for tickets. We will leave sometime after that
allowing enough time to get to the theater in time to get good seats.
Local fans recommend arriving at the theater 25 minutes prior to
showtime (assuming tickets are purchased in advance, which we are
doing), but I think 45 minutes might be better.
The theater itself is re****ted to have really nice large, comfortable
stadium seats, with armrests that can fold out of the way, or when
down can hold the jumbo cups. They have 20 screens, all of which will
be dedicated to "Superman Returns" that day (up from 5 on the previous
two days).
So far, however, we only have 2 positives and 3 tentatives. Please let
me know if you are interested, whether it's a tentative interest or a
definite interest.
