I understand the stated reasons for the ban but as a 16 year vet of D*C I
reserve the right to be pissed. I go to D*C for autographs and pictures.
The lack of coordination of the security staff was irritating. They kept
changeing the rules about when and where you could take pix. As usual, Mad
Dog seemed to be the only rational security team leader.
All the people sitting on the floor outside the ball room were as much a
hinderance as the photographers. But no over zelous security guards ran at
them shouting " No sitting! No sitting!"
A lot of cons have designated photo areas, D*C has had them in the past.
The stage area outside of Centennial Ball room would have been a good
photo area when no bands were playing, instead it was all ways full of
kids
kicking a hacky-sack around and into the crowd.
