One of the greatest things about Dragoncon is the spirit of acceptance
of almost everybody there. You can be anything, wear any type of
t****rt, say almost anything, as long as it does not hurt anyone, and
almost everyone is cool with it. Thats what makes it so enjoyable.

Unfortunately, that t****rt you mentioned actually reflected a large
problem that happened in New Orleans after the hurricaine, and is still
happening to the fine people of Texas, and I'm sure in other states
that helping the refugees cope with this. All you have to do is turn
on the news to see stories of new orelans high school students with
knives and other weapons in East Texas schools, and then you have the
debit cards being used in strip clubs, louie vitton hand bags, jewelry
(bling) stores, and other luxury items. Look at some posted re****ts of
people who volunteered in the Astrodome, and have the worst feeling in
their stomach because of all the ungrateful attitudes, and feelings of
entitlement, and that they were above the law because of what happened
to them.

I lived in new oreleans for 5 years. There are a lot of wonderful
people there. However, there is a substantially high number of trash
that live there as well, who I think act more like a pack of wild
baboons than they do humans when they sense that social control is
gone. I am not suprised in the very least at some of the actions of
these people. I'm sorry that they are tainting the image of all people
from new orleans. But there is a large problem, a very large problem.

I think the best way to put this is that Hurricaine Katrina in the long
run is probably the best thing to happen to new Orleans. However, its
probably the worst thing to happen to Houston, and other Texas towns
and cities.
