I would be surprised if anyone remembered me from a few years ago. I
was about 90% lurker.
Anywho,
I'm now working as a DSL field service technician in the far Southbay
and have hit a snag. Or rather my pants have... I'm just having a lot
of trouble finding slacks that are up to the many tasks I throw at
them.
*They need to be canvas since anything else will be torn to shreds in
the confines of the average server-room
*They have to resist dirt and stains since I often go from under a
persons house to an office building within hours of each other.
*They need adequate pockets to hold all manner of little fiddly bits.
*They need pen pockets since I'm often bent in odd positions and hate
losing pens from my ****rt pockets.
I do have two good pairs of canvas slacks from Columbia. Lovely things
with a zipable security pocket, penpockets on the thigh, and a
cellphone sleeve inside the right pocket low enough that it isn't
squeezed out daily. Unfortunately they don't seem to sell them
anymore. Any thoughts?
