Okay, folks. Threnody and DME are calling on their geek pals to help
them out of a tight spot.
My daughter, Birdie Sue, just presented me with her Flat Stanley packet.
I haven't read through it yet, but I think I need to send it around to
friends and family and have them take their picture with it and stuff.
I'll get more details later, but my question to y'all is this:
If I need to send Flat Stanley around, will one (or more) of you
volunteer? Overseas is fine, too. We'll just need to get you to take a
picture with the little bugger before sending it on (I think).
Interested? Email me if you are.
By the by, things here are good. I'm writing, possibly for cash (!),
and all three kids are doing well. DME and I are losing our minds with
them, but it's ace. Birdie Sue just asked for her first computer.
She's six. She rocks. Hedgehog likes to play at kneebouncers.com and
the Nick Jr. sites. She's two (almost three) and says she likes to push
all the buttons. She's also way into my yarn geekery and has now learned
to help me spin wool on a drop spindle. Tapper likes to whack the
keyboard with his fat little hands and laugh at kneebouncers.com when we
can wrestle the machine away from Hedgehog.
And then there's all the science stuff we do for fun. I feel like I'm
the caretaker at GeekCreche.
