Goddammit. That really sucks, even if it isn't actually that surprising.
I remember telling my brother, who is a) a WoT reader like myself, and
b) a doctor, that Jordan had Amyloidosis. My brother immediately said
the same thing you did. He wasn't optimistic about RJ's chances of being
around long enough to finish. I guess he was right.
