IM****TANT NOTICE:
PLEASE READ THIS DOCUMENT regardless of whether or not you believe you
are already in the voter database.
The voter database has been modified to allow users to maintain their
own records. All users should go to altgothic.com in order to set up a
password on the system, provided they still have access to the
registered email address. Enter the email address in the LAST form on
the sign-in page, and walk through the validation process. This
process must be completed prior to April 1st. Voting keys will only be
mailed to addresses that have been validated and updated via this
process.
Once validated, your registration record will remain valid until the
email address stops working. You may log in and update your record at
any time to keep your name, address, email address, etc. current.
Auto-response messages from old, unread email addresses will no longer
be processed by the vote committee; voters will be responsible for
keeping current email addresses on file.
MAIL-IN Convergence 13 Voter Registration:

Mail-in registration begins March 1 2006.
If you have reason to believe that you are not already in the
Convergence voter database, and you wish to vote on the location of
Convergence 13, you may self-register by doing the following:
Send a photocopy of your government issued picture ID with the ID# or
SSN blocked out along with the following information:
*Network Alias
*current / permanent email address
For those updating an email address, please include your old email
address.
Those in the USA can mail this information to:

Envelopes MUST be received by April 5 2006. ONE mail-in registration
per envelope only.
Following successful entry into the voting database your paper mail-in
submission will be destroyed. If you wish to have the document
returned to you, include self-addressed stamped envelope.
You may register with confidence that under absolutely no
circumstances will any of your information ever be disclosed to any
other parties for any reason whatsoever.
Voter Database Ping

The Convergence 13 Vote email "ping" will be sent out to the full
registered voter database on March 1 2006. All pings will be sent out
within 72 hours. If you DO NOT receive notice that you are on the
database within that time period, then you are not currently
registered to vote, or your registration information is out of date.
If this is the case, you MUST register to vote by snail mail before
the April 5 2006 deadline if you wish to participate in the
Convergence 13 Vote. In the interest of fairness, there are no
exceptions allowed.
Convergence 13 Voting Timeline

The voting period will begin at 0:00EST (05:00GMT) April 5 2006 and
will end 00:00EST (05:00GMT) on April 12 2006. Only registered voters
will be allowed to vote, using security keys which will be emailed to
them prior to the start of the actual vote.
Once the submitted votes are counted and verified, the winning
Convergence 13 committee chair will be notified. The winning proposal
will them be announced on altgothic.com and on the relevant newsgroups
and mailing lists. A public announcement will also be made at
Convergence 12 in New Orleans.
