Once again, we bring you many new im****tant updates. We are now just
*FIVE MONTHS AWAY* from our Dark Victorian Dream celebration in
****tland, Oregon, spanning Thursday, May 24th through Monday, May
28th, Memorial Day Weekend 2007!

top of quick communication with you, but spending time with our
families is a priority during this time.

We have very, very few open vending spaces left at the Hilton Hotel.
If you have an outstanding invoice and/or application with us, best to
get those in to us immediately. Deadlines will expire soon, and we
will extend these op****tunities for other vendors who are waiting in
line to purchase this space.

Laminate Prices INCREASING after Dec 31st, 2006
-----------------------------------------------------------------
General Admission Laminates prices will increase soon after the
beginning of the New Year due to ever-increasing production costs and
special events insurance rates. If you'd like to take advantage of the
current $60.00 USD price tag that gains you access to all five days of
our festival, please be sure to purchase your Laminates as soon as
possible!
Murder Mystery Dinner Theater Tickets -- Selling Out!

Last time we checked there were about 5 Murder Mystery Theater Diner
tickets left...better grab these now while we do our best to book a
larger room. More details on the venue and performance will be
announced shortly via our website.
Meanwhile, if you have purchased Murder Mystery Theatre tickets,
please be prepared to receive a Menu Selection solicitation email from
us soon. You will be able to choose from a variety of meats and
vegetarian meals. If you have any special dietary concerns and have
purchased a ticket, please contact us immediately at
sales@[EMAIL PROTECTED]
Don't forget that you must *also* purchase a General
Laminate Pass in addition to tickets for either the Murder Mystery
Dinner Theatre or Mad Hatter's Victorian Tea Party to attend these
special side events.

NEWS

Pre and Post Parties
------------------------
We will be hosting both the Pre and Post Parties at the FEZ Ballroom,
located just three blocks down the street from the Crystal Ballroom
venue. The FEZ Ballroom has two levels and wood dancing floors,
including a performance stage. We plan to have bands upstairs and DJs
downstairs for your dancing and entertainment pleasure. You won't want
to miss either of these parties! Be sure to arrive to ****tland early
on Thursday, and stick around through Monday night! Your General
Laminate Pass gains you free access to both evenings. Band and DJ
announcements forthcoming!

Note on Memorial Day Weekend Travel
--------------------------------------------------------
Whether you are arriving by plane, train or automobile, please take
special note that holiday weekend traffic in the ****tland Metro area
can become quite acute. We expect traffic to be very congested in the
greater downtown area from Noon to 7pm on Friday, May 25th of the
festival. Plan to arrive earlier than later and make sure you are a
part of the festivities! Better yet, plan to arrive by Thursday
afternoon in time for the Pre-Party at the Fez!
DJ and Band Submissions

If you are interested in submitting for Band or DJ submissions, best
to get those in sooner than later. Submission protocols are published
on our website.
Panels, Fa****on, and Art Show Submissions

Please continue to submit your interest in participating in the Art
Show, Fa****on Show, and Panel Discussions. Submission protocols are
published on our website, (some updates are pending).
Volunteering
------------------
Convergence 13, LTD is currently seeking locally-based volunteers to
help administrate the 2007 Convergence Festival. If you live within
the ****tland-Metro area and would like to volunteer, please contact us

to receive an application.
Donations
-------------
Convergence 13, LTD is a non-profit, mutual benefit company. We will
gladly accept any donations you would like to make to the company
after January 1, 2007 to help us produce this event. If you would like

E-mail Problems
--------------------
If you have e-mailed us and haven't heard back, please try contacting
us again. Unfortunately, some mail doesn't make it through our SPAM
filters. Additionally, please add us to your e-mail address books or
adjust your settings. We have sent several e-mails that have never
made it to their destination, and we have also received several bounce-
backs.
Typical response time for e-mail sent to one of the contact addresses
advertised on our website is approximately 2-5 days. However, please
review the information on our website, MySpace or LiveJournal accounts
before you contact us. We will be attempting to continually update
our FAQ and these sights to hopefully answer more of the general
questions we receive.
