May we excite you that we are now only *FOUR MONTHS AWAY* from
Convergence 13?
Our Dark Victorian Dream festival celebration taking place in
****tland, Oregon, from Thursday, May 24th through Monday, May 28th
2007, Memorial Day Weekend and you will *NOT* want to miss this.
As to be expected, we have a multitude of im****tant new
announcements...not much old news here, so be sure to read our entire
letter!
Smoking Policy at Venues
-----------------------------------
Due to popular concern, we have ensured that there will be *NO
SMOKING* upstairs at either the Crystal Ballroom venue or at the FEZ
Ballroom venue for the main performance areas.
You may, however, smoke downstairs at both venues where there will be
plenty of drinks, DJs and dancing.
All of our side event venues are nonsmoking, but a few may have

Mad Hatter's Victorian Tea Party Tickets -- BACK ON SALE!

Much to your hopeful relief, we've met with the venue to successfully
increase the number of attendees quite significantly. This has
resulted in a slight increase of ticket price...but grab these
quickly, because do not expect that they will not last long!

Murder Mystery Dinner Theater Tickets -- Still Sold Out!

We are still sold out of Murder Mystery Dinner Theater Tickets until
further notice. If we are unable to find more space, we will make an
announcement to begin building a waitlist. But please wait until we
are certain that we cannot find more space.
Meanwhile, if you have purchased Murder Mystery Theatre tickets,
please be prepared to receive a Menu Selection solicitation email from
us soon. You will be able to choose from either a poultry or
vegetarian entr=E9e. If you have any special dietary concerns and have

Shuttle P***** Recommended!

A few of our venues are quite distant from the Hilton Hotel or have
limited parking. Be sure to pick up a Shuttle Pass with your tickets,
as it is good for all three primary days of the festival (Friday,
Saturday, and Sunday). All ticketed events will have shuttled service
that leaves from and returns to the Hilton Hotel.

Pre and Post Parties at the FEZ--Im****tant Information!

We will be hosting both the Pre and Post Parties at the FEZ Ballroom,
located just three blocks down the street from the Crystal Ballroom
venue. The FEZ Ballroom has two levels and wood dancing floors,
including a performance stage. We plan to have bands upstairs and DJs
downstairs for your dancing and entertainment pleasure. You won't want
to miss either of these parties! Be sure to arrive to ****tland early
on Thursday, and stick around through Monday night! Your General
Laminate Pass gains you free access to both evenings. Band and DJ
announcements forthcoming!
**IM****TANT**: Due to some recent inquires, we need to clarify that
our Pre and Post Parties are 21+ only, as the Oregon Liquor Control
Commission license issued at this venue does not allow anyone under
21. We apologize for any inconvenience. We also want to remind you
that the FEZ will be NO SMOKING upstairs for the main performances.

discount is good for three days before Convergence 13 to three days
after Convergence 13 (May 21st to May 30th). However, rooms on May
22nd (the Tuesday before our event) have sold out at the Hilton Hotel,

on Memorial Day Weekend Travel
-----------------------------------
Whether you are arriving by plane, train or automobile, please take
special note that holiday weekend traffic in the ****tland Metro area
can become quite acute. We expect traffic to be very congested in the
greater downtown area from Noon to 7pm on Friday, May 25th of the
festival, especially since this date marks the exodus on summer
vacations.
Plan to arrive earlier than later and make sure you are a part of the
festivities! Better yet, plan to arrive by Thursday afternoon in time
for the Pre-Party at the Fez!
Volunteering

Convergence 13, LTD is still currently seeking locally-based
volunteers to help administrate the 2007 Convergence Festival. If you
live within the ****tland-Metro area and would like to volunteer,

application. Now is the time to sign up, as we've begun our campaign
to organize all of the volunteers who have signed up to date.

E-mail Problems and Winter Storm Information Losses
---------------------------------------------------
If you have e-mailed us and haven't heard back, please try contacting
us again, especially if you had sent email to
info[at]convergence13.com prior to January 15,2007. A winter storm
power surge took out one of our primary computers housing those
emails, and we lost most if not all email sent to this address,
possibly including your special requests and contact information.
Additionally, please add us to your e-mail address books or adjust
your settings. We have sent several e-mails that have never made it to
their destination, and we have also received several bounce-backs.
Please also double-check that you have correctly spelled our email
addresses.
