Re: A Very Special Convergence 13 Announcement!

This is actually very disappointing news for me, since I was all
psyched up to go and was saving my pennies, planning dresses, and
getting excited.  I've nixed the trip altogether now and the
announcement that has been going around lots in other places was a
major factor in that decision.  I personally feel that this will
attract a large number of people who have no interest in the theme of
this event and I'd rather not have a watered down experience because
of it.  I would also have loved to see more theme appropriate acts
booked for a Victorian theme.  I don't exactly expect to sip tea while
listening to a harpsichord concert, but I also can't see myself
donning my best bustle gowns to see Skinny Puppy. :/

As a huge Victorian enthusiast, I really wanted to attend this event,
but this news really made me rethink my travel plans and that makes me
very sad.
