As stated elsewhere (brought here for clarity):

One could (theoretically) argue whether or not these MySpace websites
are, in fact, the hosted location of these bids, but the fact that at
least Hollywood is pointing people to their MySpace page and *not* a
location hosted on altgothic.com does tend to confuse the issue.

Also...

"After __receipt of submission__, [committees] may post their Bid
Proposals to the alt.gothic.* news groups, and open their web sites to
the public."

These MySpace pages have been up for some time now, giving Hollywood
and Dallas essentially a HUGE head start in gauging public opinion to
their bid, campaigning, soliciting mail-in registration campaigns,
etc.
