Seems more like an old timer/"newbie" division to me, but that's
neither here nor there.

If that were true, wouldn't the group be limited to committee members
only?  Why did I personally receive an invite to join the group some
time ago? (I want to say at least 6 months ago, but I declined the
invite and deleted it)  The fact of the matter is, you've had this
site online for a long time now and have been using it to publicize
your bid, get the feedback and essentially do what the bidding period
is supposed to accomplish.

hey, speaking of... I haven't seen any links to any of the
altgothic.com bid sites and poking around (say by typing in
altgothic.com/c14[cityname]) hasn't yielded any results that I've
managed to find - are the sites active?

Anyway, that's my unsolicited $.02 here.  When and where ever active
discussion on the bids themselves pop up, I fully reserve the right to
dish out a few more pennies.
