Re: Cabal decision [was: C14 bids: committees jumping the gun]

I've reviewed the posts 'Convergence 14 Voter Registration
Information', ' Convergence 14 Vote Instruction', and 'Convergence 14
Vote Bid Proposal Information' from March 31st, 2007 and cannot find
any rule stating you are not allowed to make posts regarding you bid
or intent to bid prior to April 14th, 2007.  Further, I can't find any
mention of a 'promotion' period - the word promotion does not even
appear in those rules.

The only mention I can find of anything similar is in regards to
posting states "posting to weblogs, regional mailing lists and other
resources is permitted but not required."

Please clarify the rules you're citing when disallowing these bids.
