Just like with us humans, diamonds have their unique races and this is
shown through their colors.
Diamonds though sometimes it may look the same with its own kind still
have this tinge of difference with each other.
Its color is the main reason of this difference.
During the year 1999 Color typing was made known through Gran Full
Spectrum Colorimeter DC2000fs (Gem Instruments).
This instrument has been precise in actually determining the
difference of one diamond with its other own kind.
Truly not everything can be seen by the eye.
The next thing we'll know scientists may discover on how to categorize
colors of the diamond.
The instrument may also be reliable and significant for you to
determine if what you are buying is true genuine.
Now nothing is impossible since we are now living in an advance world.
Through technology and science we can now live in a more complex but
convenient world.
Only that people must learn how to use these modern technology in a
proper way. That this modernization will not lead to our own
destruction.
It's a great break for the lab to discover the Gran Full Spectrum
Colorimeter. In this manner scams will reduced. Spreading of fake
diamonds will now be on hold.
There are still lot of things to be done to have more improvements for
this instrument, which we must await for. An exciting discovery that
we should be aware of.
Now the latest is DC3000 which will arrive hopefully on October 5. The
edge of this new development is that it will no longer require manual
dark field calibration and it has improved platform makes it more
convenient. What's more? well this DC3000 will be reading according to
the GIA standards.
You see we are in such a fast phase time indeed. So we shouldn't be
left out. Always keep yourself updated for new discoveries.
