We are proud to announce two bands that will be appearing at
Convergence 14 this year. Faded Sympathy
(http://www.fadedsympathy.com)
will be traveling all the way from
Columbus, OH, in order to entertain you with their with their unique
brand of gothic rock. Combining post-punk of the early 80s with a 90s
shoegazer sensibility, they are a welcome addition to the stage of
Convergence 14.
Also joining us will be Tampa's The Synthetic Dream Foundation
(http://www.tsdf.net),
whose music ranges the map from EBM Industrial
to Dark Ambient/Industrial and back again to experimental endeavours.

We are also pleased to announce that our Main Event will be graced
with the DJing skills of Cleveland's own SpinMistress Batty. Last seen
at Convergence 9, we are delighted that she will once again be
providing her considerable skills for Convergence 14.
For those who will be present at the Pre-Party, the enjoyment of the
ministrations of DJ Sonny Crocket (http://batty.us/lj/macross.jpg)
will be yours. Fast cars, fast women, fast internet connections -
these are tell-tale signs of a Vice DJ. Detective Sonny Crockett is a
nine year veteran of the Macross City Vice unit, protecting citizens
from criminally bad tunes with a weekly net radio broadcast
originating beneath the palm trees at http://www.ipmradio.com
.
Crockett embodies the pastel days and neon nights, but can the shark
survive?
