What!!?

I think you may find this a gross generalisation...

Gothic culture here is the UK may not be 'mainstream' but it certainly 
grows from what was the mainstream for a long time in times past.

Next you'll be insisting that I'm bringing up my children 'badly' 
because we Home Ed.  - because that isn't part of the mainstream 
either...  despite it being a) normal, b) useful and c) very legal...

For me, goth sits very much with my christian faith (book of common 
prayer is utterly gothic :-)  But then I did claim to be on the 
intellectual end of things.  (and this *is not* a comment against anyone 
who leads any other form of lifestyle - each to their own.  Oh you can 
tell I grew up within the CofE,  lol)

Maybe I have just had a sheltered upbringing.  maybe I'm overeacting 
back to an overreaction...
