I can only speak from the perspective of a Gothdad, but I hope that 
counts too :)

ATM, our daughter (Zoë) is far too young to be influenced by (or 
interested in) anything other than the next feed & having a clean rear 
end.

However, it doesn't worry me particularly that she will grow up with a 
dad that doesn't play golf, doesn't wear cardigans and doesn't subscribe 
to all the cable/satellite s****ts channels.

We certainly won't be dressing her in little black dresses with bats on 
(even if they do look pretty cute), but equally we won't be changing how 
we dress or what we listen to. I figure she'll do whatever she wants to 
do anyway (which will probably be to listen to chart music & wear lots 
of pink).
