Wow, Lee, things are just the opposite where I live.  Most of my son's
friends' parents are much older than me and I always feel a little out
of place.

I know where Vicki is coming from here as well.  I live in a sort of
snobbish neighbourhood as well.  I tend to wear one set of clothes for
school functions which is much more conservative than I'd like to wear
otherwise.  Although I still wear funky shoes on days when I go into
school to help in the classroom.  I get so many compliments from the
little girls on my purple DMs and my Anarchic cat maryjanes.  :)
