Hi! Welcome and congratulations. I am afraid there isn't a whole lot going
on in this group the last few weeks; but maybe that can change...

Well, you sound pretty determined; I'm sure you will be fine. I am a big
fan
of single moms; for lots of reasons. You go girl!

Yeah, it *is* a lot to wade through! Take every class you can, especially
the free ones at the hospital - and read like a fiend! Having a little
information will make you feel a lot more on top of things, and less like
you are in a whirlwind; both now and when the baby arrives.

Speaking as a mom who frumped out in a hyooooge way when my son was first
born, I can say with authority, don't do it. Of course, be a responsible
parent and all (your clubbing days may be over for a few years, anyway)
but
don't let yourself get lost. I felt like I was becoming invisible, and it
took me a long time to get back to feeling like me. Take every chance to
bond with your baby, but take time for you, too. Even if you have to find
other moms, and trade-off 'Mommy-days' so you can get some you time... And
don't feel like you have to dress or act differently because you are a
mommy...

OK, done ranting - LOL! In the end, my son is THE best thing that ever
happened to me! Tons of welcomes and congrats.
